The Browns have been pretty fortunate so far this year (knocking on wood right now). There haven’t been any season ending injuries yet and Gary Baxter and LeCharles Bentley are in the middle of trying to make unbelievable comebacks - and I’m psyched at the thought of seeing LCB playing for his hometown browns someday. However, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer,

“Steinbach and Roye maybes:

Crennel said he’s hoping Eric Steinbach and Orpheus Roye will be ready for the opener, but he’s not counting on them.”

What a blow it would be to have Steinbach miss some time. They finally look to have a REALLY good offensive line and our biggest free agent acquisition gets hurt (sound familiar?). Here’s to hoping he’s not out too long. Hey, at least this year we have some depth though.
